I am sitting here in my room and planning to sail the Caribbean on Jewel Of The Seas, wondering about its Deck plans and the venues I must prepare for. And after spending a few hours on the internet here is what I found about this ship.

Jewel of the seas is one of the Radiance Class cruises, that made its maiden voyage in 2004. And as per the Royal Caribbean Incentives, it was refurbished in 2016.

It can accommodate up to 2,110 people. And it has a total of 1,097 guest rooms.

Onboard it features 8 dining venues, multiple bars and lounges, 3 pools, a rock climbing wall, mini golf, a basketball court, broadway shows, a spa, a fitness center, and venues for teens and kids.

It sails for 4 to 17 nights. And as per the Royal Caribbean official website, there are multiple round trip itineraries, such as Bahamas & Perfect Day Cruise, Western Caribbean, Key West & Falmouth Holiday, Southern Caribbean, Eastern Caribbean, and Transatlantic Cruise from Orlando.

There are 12 decks that are accessible to the guests.

Deck 2 forward hosts Medical Facility. Onboard there are 1 to 3 doctors and 3 to 5 nurses, depending on the size of the ship.

And there are various equipments such as cardiac monitors, automated external defibrillators, ventilators, and x-ray machines.

Overall they are well-equipped to face any mishap.

Apart from that deck 2 hosts Ocean View as well as interior staterooms. And Deck 3 is also reserved for staterooms.

Tides Dining Room: Looking for a complimentary dining venue? If yes, then head to the Tides Dining Room. It’s a multistory venue that goes up to deck 5.

As per the info, on It’s a moon-themed venue where breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. Here you will get the option of pancakes, French Toast, and smoked salmon bagels, while scrambled eggs, meat, toast, cheese, and more varieties are offered at a buffet area.

Lunch is served on Sea days only on deck 4 from noon to 1:30 p.m. A Brasserie 30 menu will be served.

For dinner, you can choose early i.e. 6 p.m or late 8:30 p.m, or you can head to deck 5 for My Time Dining, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. And a sample menu is available on Beyond Ships.

Deck 5 is the entertainment and shopping zone.

Coral Theatre: It is a multistory theatre on deck 5 forward, that goes up to deck 6. Here you will enjoy Broadway musicals and Original productions. And always make sure to reach 45 minutes prior to the show, to get the best seats.

Aft is the Art and the Photo Gallery, as well as Conference Center.

Shops Of Centrum: Midship deck 5 are the duty-free shops, where you will find jewelry, liquor, t-shirts, hats, and more stuff.

Giovanni’s Table: If you are looking for a specialty Italian Lunch and Dinner, then Giovanni’s Table is one of the premium venues on deck 6. Here you will find Old-World Classics like house focaccia with marinated artichokes and more traditional options. Solarium: It is one of the Adult only spaces(16 Over) onboard, where you can relax in a temperature-controlled environment. It has a retractable roof.

It has a pool, a hot tub, and some loungers and you can enjoy some drinks from Solarium Bar and Cafe.

Main Pool: Midship is the main pool. Here you will enjoy parties, sunbathing, and chilled drinks from the pool bar. Here you will find 2 hot tubs as well. And a Giant movie screen.

Windjammer: Windjammer is the complimentary buffet onboard Jewel. It has an outdoor seating area.

You will find multiple food stations, such as beverages, Japanese, South Asian, and Indian, and you can also explore gluten-free. It basically serves international food varieties.

And you can grab some desserts and enjoy in the windjammer’s Outdoor space on this ship.

Looking for some workouts and sports on Jewel Of the Seas? If yes then head to deck 12.

Vitality At Sea Fitness Center: Want to unload some carbs? Then head to this gym. Unlike spa, it is complimentary. It opens from 6 am to 10 pm. There are various types of equipment, such as treadmills, bikes, and weights and you can also opt-in for paid Yoga classes. And the prices are around $16 each.

Midship is the Sky Bar and a Running track. And there are plenty of loungers to relax and enjoy the views from this deck.

And teens will love to hang out in Fuel Teen Disco where they can participate in events, and games and make new friends. Next is the Arcade. Generally, the games cost $.75 to $2.50.

And if you are traveling with your kid, then head to The Adventure Ocean. It’s a program where babies from 6 to 36 months and kids up to 12 years old can participate.

Aquanauts is a place for 3 to 5 years old. And they need to be potty-trained to enroll. Explorers is for 6 to 8-year-olds and Voyagers is for 9 to 11.

If you want to enjoy a late-night party, then there is a paid babysitting program from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. And the nursery is also hourly charged.

Aft houses the sports court, where guests can play basketball. And there is a kid’s park on the starboard.

Deck 13 is the party venue. Here you will find Diamon Club a lounge for crown and anchor members. And members get 4 free cocktails every day. And Concierge club is for the suite guests. And Vortex is the nightclub onboard. And during the daytime, you can enjoy amazing views. And Viking Crown Lounge hosts silent discos.
